More Chords!

I find that this chord project vastly surpasses my last one. Firstly I composed a simple drum loop so match the chord progression nicely. I created a catchy bass loop from Poizone's BAS Ringo MC that starts with the 'outside' notes on the chords in the scale of G. Towards the middle to the end-ish of the song there is a variation of the bass with a series of double stop notes. Moving on to the synth: it is Poizone's SYN Phaz TC. In the key of G there is a chord progression G D Em C. To make the song tolerable there is variation within the inner notes of the chord. In the chorus section (I guess you could call it that) there is no variation. At the end it ends with the original bass pattern.

Inspirational

I can definitely say I've heard songs with this chord progression but I can't seem to place any. Maybe the inspiration came subconsciously from some deep compartment in my brain that has heard this before. The Bass consists of 3 Poizone plug ins, all with their own uniqueness. The main sound is the Poizone Synth. First of all I started with a bass line with the C G A(m) F chord progression. I built off of that with the sythn and some arpeggio sounds later on. The drums have some Dance + Club sounds. The drum beat is very closely related to 'Look At Me Now' by Chris Brown. There is a build up and it stops short for a quiet bass part with drums.
